This is a First Class china pattern as used in the First Class areas of the Titanic, RMS Olympic and the SS Majestic.

Because of the Greek key design, as you would expect it is known as the "Greek Key" pattern.
A little obvious but it gives an un-named pattern a label by which it has become widely known.

It is one of the "rich" designs generically described as cobalt blue. The original pattern number was 1/9806 and is thought to have been available since 1899 and used by the White Star Line from 1911 to the 1930's. (thanks to Russ Upholster for this information).

All of our tableware carries the Gold OSNC logo which stands for the "Oceanic Steam Navigation Company".

All of these items detailed here are recreated from original items in our private collection so we can be sure it is the most accurate replica that has ever been, or will be, available.

Production of these replicas is very complicated requiring 4 kiln firings to recreate the exact pattern. The Gold lining, pattern detail and logo are all 24 Karat pure gold. Most replica chinaware uses copper lustre to give the impression of gold. We use real gold.

The original items were made Spode / Copeland's  and the Liverpool company  Stonier & Co., whose name is often on the back of this type of china were merely supply agents to the White Star Line.

Just as the White Star Line did over a century ago we have chosen British craftsmen from the Potteries to recreate a truly elegant product.

The backstamp is the same as used on the original items with the exception of the addition of our name for this range - "Captains Table". We have added this to the backstamp because the replication is so accurate we do not want it to be confused with an original item.

Below is listed the range of chinaware currently available in this pattern. By clicking on the name you will be taken to an individual product page with more detailed photographs.

Always available with larger quantities available to order.
