From our First Class Table Service we are offering this exquisite
Stourbridge 24% Lead Crystal as used by the guests at Captain E. J Smith's
dinner table. We first identified a Stourbridge supplier of 24% lead crystal and using copper abrasive wheels an ex Stuart Crystal craftsman hand cuts every crystal facet and then finally polishes the finished item. The heavy 24% lead content imparts unparalleled luxury and provides a hardness and brilliance when cut that is unrivalled. It also allows the glass to ring clearly like a bell when pinged or resonate when you run your finger around the rim. All our 24% Lead crystal items are made in the glass quarter of Stourbridge as were the original Titanic First Class crystal. They are hand cut by descendants of the same craftsmen employed by Stuart Crystal on behalf of the White Star Line.
